This week we are starting reading groups.
White group is working on recognizing their uppercase and lowercase letters
Yellow group is working on the sounds the letters make
Red group knows ALL of their letters and sounds and is beginning to read
Most of my students are in white group. I sent a note home in folders to all of my yellow and red readers. If you didn't get a note then your child is in the white reading group. Reading groups are based off your child's initial assessment. If you feel that your child is ready to move to the next group please let me know and I will test your child again.
